Put on your favorite bicycling outfit, adjust your bike helmet straps, and check your bike lights – It’s Bike Month in Pierce County! Throughout May around Pierce County, there will be many opportunities to ride your bike, regardless of your riding experience.

How To Get Involved with Bike Month:

• Find bike resources at Pierce Trips.
• Join the Bike Everywhere Challenge, May 1 - 31 as an individual or a team.
• Join the 12^th Annual Bike Swap on Saturday, May 6 at the University of Puget Sound to buy or sell bikes and bike parts, and more.
• Find a bike ride or event near you in Tacoma and Pierce County.
• Help us expand Bicycle Benefits in Pierce County.
• Ride your bike to a gathering, a museum, a park, or a game. Try combining biking with transit.
• Keep an eye out for Downtown On The Go’s Bike Bingo.

Bike Everywhere Challenge: During May 1-31, log at least 10 bike trips on the Pierce Trips calendar for a chance to win prizes, including:

• $50 and $100 gift cards to a local bike shop
• $10 and $20 gift codes
• Pizza party for top three Bike Teams
