Lakewood survey

How Do You Get Around Lakewood?

The City of Lakewood is updating their non-motorized transportation plan to reflect the improvements made over the last 10 years and to provide direction on how to expand its walking and rolling network. Please let the city know how you use Lakewood’s sidewalks, bike paths and other non-motorized routes by taking this short survey.

Ped Safety

Be Seen Be Safe

With the weather finally transitioning to fall, we all need to take extra caution when we are traveling. Here are some tips for all road users to keep in mind:

  • Walkers: Make sure drivers and bicyclists are stopping for you before crossing the street, and wear or carry visibility items.
  • Bicyclists: Be cautious of road conditions, yield to pedestrians, follow traffic signals, and wear or carry visibility items.
  • Drivers: Turn on your headlights, always be scanning the road, and look for pedestrians and bicyclists before you take a turn.
