All youth under 18 years of age ride for free on Pierce Transit, King County Metro, Sound Transit, Kitsap Transit and Community Transit. Young people ages 13 and older are encouraged to show their Youth ORCA card or current school student ID to ride.
Park(ing) Day is a global, public project where people across the world temporarily repurpose street parking spaces into tiny parks, and places for art and play. In Tacoma, parking spaces along Pacific Ave. between S. 7th and S. 13th will be transformed by local organizations and individuals. Host or explore the parklets on Friday, Sept. 16, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and enjoy local food vendors and reimagine how we use public spaces.

The 2022 Washington Bike, Walk, Roll Summit will take place virtually, Sept. 28-30 and in person in Spokane, WA on Oct. 3. This year the Summit theme is "Building Just and Resilient Communities." Virtual registration is free with a $10 suggested donation. Scholarships offered by Cascade Bicycle Club are available to attend the conference in person.
