The American Automobile Association (AAA) analyzes driving costs each year and covers vehicles equipped with standard and optional accessories including automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, AM/FM stereo, driver and passenger side air bags, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, tinted glass, emission equipment and rear-window defogger.

Ownership & Operating Cost

Taxes, depreciation, finance charges, registration, and insurance and license fees are ownership costs and are incurred regardless of how often you drive your vehicle. Operating costs including gas, oil, maintenance and tires are incurred for each mile you drive.
